My first attempt at creating a bust, from a block of Amaco Clay.

I started off by using hands & knife. Eventually my thumbs did most of the work, sort of like giving somebody a massage.

I ended up buying some sculpting utensils to finish the piece off. A lady, in clay.

First experiment in sculpting clay – making Easter Island heads for a friend.
