Cucumber Tuna & Yuzu Hamachi

I saw a beer on the menu called Orion, my favorite constellation, so I ordered it. It was really good, a rice beer from Okinawa. Look at the Albacore looking delicious.

Cheers, it’s Chad’s birthday.
Last night we celebrated by going out to Thai Food. Thai food – its no joke!

*Clang* Singha, so refreshing with spicy food.

Ordering

Mum/Pops!

Tom Yum – so damn good. If you haven’t had this, leave the house right now and order either Tom Yum, or Tom Kha Gai.

Jungle Curry! Get Down get Down! (this is so damn spicy - almost died, true story. The Panang Curry is so good)

This miserable Crab and this miserable helicopter looking fish live at Thai Spice in Anaheim Hills – say hi to them if you go.

Sticky Rice and Mango / Fried banana and icecream
later we had more booze and watched “You Me and Everyone we Know”
))<>((
Yes that’s “Hypnotic” – but we also had Maker’s Mark.

Alice offers to snap a pic of me and me mum.

After a long week of working, working out, dancing, and being a little cooped up like a feril chicken – I was very excited to go out today, and how better to celebrate a day off by eating everything under the sun moon and stars!? My company, also celebrating a beautiful day to unwind was also very excited to eat.

Inspecting the menu.

Focused like the wolf

The tea is poured

Mustard Greens, Bean Curd Skin, Soy Beans.

1000 Year Old Egg.
(Your mama is so old, her pet chicken laid this egg, by the way)

Sliced Pig Ear – The first time i had this, i didn’t let myself enjoy it, but its actually very good and has a nice texture.

Taiwanese Beef Stew – So so good. (We ordered one with tendon as well, which tastes like beef flavored jello)

Mixing the egg and tofu (also known as Horse Piss Eggs – these eggs were not pickled in horse urine)

A Soy bean tries to escape – it’s penalty: A Brutal Death by Consumption!

Masterful soup eating technique – this was very spicey!
Note: After this we went to Yogurtland and I am now in pain from eating so much.
