As some of you may have noticed… there is a certain something special about Furdiburb’s turds.
And that certain something is that they are lucky.
This originates from, and embellishes, a famous Japanese pun: “Kin no Unko” (The Golden Poo)
The Japanese word for poop (unko) starts with the same “oon” sound as a completely unrelated word that means “luck.”
But this goes further than a simple pun, because in the Japanese Shinto religion, there are so many gods that some even serve the purpose of healthy bodily functions. This divinity of poops is also why the “Kin no Unko” (The Golden Poo) is so perfect in appearance:
Voila! (these charms are now popular in Japan – coming as plastic keychains, and even in fine porcelain – plated in real gold)

In Furdiburb’s world… this pun is embellished to provide you with a bit of humor and luck in your android device. Some poops are luckier than others, but all are tokens for good fortune.
And here, Japanese Pun meets Irish folk lore, all in the name of good fortune:

Another spin, on the perfect shape of these lucky poops which, look like soft-serve ice cream:

As Furdiburb’s interactivity expands, so will the ability to produce lucky poop. Maybe some day even the fortuitous “Kin no Unko”

If anybody has wondered what purple fruit sometimes grows on Furdiburb‘s magic tree, here is your answer:

A Mangosteen!
Also known as “The Queen of Fruit” the Mangosteen tastes somewhere between a strawberry, an apple, and an orange… a hard shell protects the fruit’s delicate meat. A real unique flavor, and difficult to open.
Here is an opened Mangosteen. They’re hard to find, sometimes they can be found at asian markets though.
